Power of Care Leadership interviewed Gregory B. Smith, Sr., Compco’s Chairman of the Board and Chief Culture Officer. He was asked to be part of the series, which includes community leaders in various business and community sectors.

Gregory B. Smith, Sr., Compco’s Chairman of the Board and Chief Culture Officer answers 8 questions in 8 minutes.

Greg represents the third generation to operate the family business that was founded by his grandfather in 1954.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a Master’s in Business Administration in Strengths Leadership from University of Nebraska-Lincoln/Gallup University.

For the past three years, Greg has been an instructor in the School of Communication at Youngstown State University, where he teaches classes in interpersonal and group dynamics and public speaking.

He is also a TEDx speaker and current license holder for TEDxYoungstown, and continues to hone his speaking skills and coach others on the stage. Greg is the author of “Speak Like a Pro…”, a book in which he compiles best practices and practical tips for public speakers.
