In October for Manufacturing Month, Compco was proud to open our doors to high school seniors from the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center (CCCTC) as part of the Manufacturing Your Future event, organized by the Columbiana County Port Authority.
The visit gave students an inside look at modern manufacturing and how innovation, teamwork, and craftsmanship come together each day at Compco. During their tour, students had the opportunity to walk our production floor, meet with team members across departments, and see first-hand how our deep-draw metal stamping process helps power industries across the nation.
Our team also shared their own career journeys, highlighting the wide variety of paths available in manufacturing—from engineering and production to maintenance, logistics, and leadership. At Compco, we believe that manufacturing isn’t just about making parts—it’s about building futures, strengthening communities, and growing together.
As a family-owned company founded and rooted in Columbiana County, we are passionate about supporting workforce development and inspiring the next generation of makers. We extend our gratitude to the Columbiana County Port Authority for coordinating this event and to the CCCTC instructors and students for spending the day learning with us.
Together, we’re building a stronger future for Columbiana County—one opportunity at a time.
